I am the owner of Techs-on-Call which has been in business since 2005. I have a natural intuition with computers and electronics and am thus able to fix most any computer problem even if I don't know what the problem is. This is a side-effect of having my first computer when I was 6 years old, an old Tandy. Tandy was a brand sold in Radio Shack and made its name from being what was called an IBM clone, back when everything was either IBM compatible or Apple compatible. Tandy and IBM would later be overshadowed by the likes of Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, and many others. But all them except Apple used Microsoft software and Intel hardware, which would later become the most popular choice for computers. The best time to learn computers is when you are young, and I did that. Computers are also pure logic just like Math. I was always good at complex math such as Calculus which further helped me to understand how computers work.
I also stay up-to-date with the technology since it changes rapidly. I generally spend a few minutes every day reading about the latest changes. You have to stay up-to-date or you will be left behind quickly.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from ECU with a minor in Mathematics. My speciality was web development (but not artistic design of web pages) and object-oriented programming.
