Because the economy has been so bad lately, the price of computers will rise. The reason is the lack of demand has caused computer component production to drop. When people buy less parts, less parts are made. Quite often in business, production goes too far one way or the other. It had gone too high causing prices to be low. Now production has gone too low creating a shortfall. Yes production will eventually pick back up, but not anytime soon. I noticed memory prices started increasing in the middle of this year. Now other parts in the computer are going to start costing more too.

There is some good news in all this. This will not be a sharp rise in prices.
